Just another tourist trap. Looks like a cool local's dive bar that I would love to eat crabs at. But not really. We had a bad experience a couple years ago but thought we would give it another try. Crabs were mealy and wet. We didn't get the all you could eat. Just a dozen. Also got 50 steamed clams. Sandy inside and out. If you don't get the sand off the shells before you steam them, of course they will be sandy. Beer was cold. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Don't really have a better place in Bethany to recommend for crabs. But I wouldn't go here

Three times in one week. Great food, great service, great happy hour. Thanks Blaire, Nicole and the manager who served us the busy Sunday night! Get the soft shell BLT and wings at hh!

Love this place. ALWAYS the first place we come to while at the Delaware Shore. Great food, great prices, and we had a great waiter tonight. With two people who wanted crabs, but they only had small. Oh , well. The other food was fabulous !

Don't bother ordering anything other than crabs. I understand that it is a crab house, but ordering something else on the menu shouldn't seem like an issue. The order took 40 minutes and was room temp. One of the pieces of fish was not fried well or over fried and when I brought that to the attention of the waiter he sad, "No problem!" I was so bewildered by that I just stared with my mouth open looking at him. It was not edible. We later asked the waiter if it was a busy night( to find an excuse for the food coming so late) and he just stood there and said no. We then proceeded to burst out laughing and were still confused about the wait. He brought four crabs over as a sorry for your wait type but I thought that was strange because I didn't order crabs and I was the one with the issue.... So long story short, the people I was with had decent crabs and got some extra. I had horrible fish and chips and had to deal with a waiter that didn't appear to have much common sense.

Crabs are super yum and loaded with old bay seasoning. The only negative is that the crabs are literally CAKED in old bay seasoning. After eating two crabs I was desperate for bread or milk to stop the burning in my mouth. The Alaskan king crabs are also delicious. The potato salad is a winner. The service was so so - we did take out and they got our order completely wrong - ordered 12 crabs and got half a bushel. Ordered one serving of chicken fingers and got two. The hubby didn't say anything to the hostess, just handed our credit card over. When I asked him "didn't the meal seem expensive," he said "No, not by NY standards." Oh well. Can't speak to the decor - we did take out.

Fantastic place! We had the all you can eat snow crabs with some raw oysters as an app. Loved it all!!!

I'm not a seafood lover so I don't want to comment on the food as I ordered something different. The A/C inside is horrible and I'm not even sure if it was working or not. Our server was awesome though, her name was Alyssa and she was really good and had a great personality. The hostess was not that great, it was almost like it was her first day on the job and wasn't great at welcoming us.

Good crabs but the four stars are more for the friendly service. Other than Mango's -- which was closed on a Saturday afternoon for a wedding -- my husband and I were a little surprised that we couldn't find a crab shack or bar/eatery overlooking the ocean. An ice cream shop owner on the boardwalk suggested that we try Micky's. We visited at the end of April on a warm but brisk Sat afternoon. It wasn't crowded and the bartender and owner were friendly, fun and attentive. My husband and I split an order of onion rings and a 1/2 doz of medium-sized crabs. I'm not sure if they were local or from the gulf (it's not really crab season), but either way they were good. If there really aren't any ocean view crab shacks, this place is a good, friendly spot. If this place overlooked the water, it would be 5 stars.

The family and I had 2 dozen large crabs last night and they were outstanding. Lots of juicy crab meat! Service was spot on. The have dog fish head 60 min. IPA on tap as well.

This is the most unprofessional place I've ever eaten at. My waitress was horribly rude to our table. She paid plenty of attention to the two tables nearby but ignored our table. She must have stared at our empty water pitcher 5 different times as she walked by and didn't bother to get us more. We had to ask 3 times where our food was because it was taking forever and when it finally did come out, it was cold. When it came time to pay the check, the server added a 20% gratuity to the after-tax amount, and after swiping our cards, manually wrote in ANOTHER 20%. I was awestruck by how horribly our table was treated and then the nerve to try and double charge a 20% tip. The all-you-can-eat crabs were average, nothing special. It was $38 which is on the pricey side for steamed crabs. When I am paying $60 for my dinner, I expect decent and respectful service. I will never come back here and I suggest you get crabs someplace else. There is no shortage of restaurants to get crabs in this area.

I'm giving Mickey's 5 stars because it is the best of the crab houses along RT 1 in Bethany. Great food, service, outdoor deck. Kid friendly Mac-n-cheese just like Annie's (maybe it is). We made several visits over our days there.

Stumbled upon this place completely by accident since it was walking distance from our rented condo (Sea Colony). From the outside this place looked like a dump of a down home crab shack! The perfect kind of place for home cooked seafood. Boy were we right on the money! Except the food is better than home cooked (delicious with a foodie flair) & the staff is nicer than your mother! Crab cake sandwich is delicious & the fries are home made.....real cut potatoes deep fried (not the frozen Sisco type). The grilled Mahi is an outstanding dish & even the freshly made soup was delicious! This place is a real winner!

WOW, AMAZING. We ordered a pound of the medium-size shrimp and they were so delicious. The size of the shrimp could have passed for the large-size! The snow crab legs were just amazing. I really can't wait to go back! Super cute, very fun, and REALLY delicious!

They have good food but it's too expensive! I've been coming here for a while and every time I'm satisfied with the meal and then look at the bill - hooolleeeyyy shhhh**. The wait staff is friendly but don't expect a warm greeter calling in. I called in yesterday and asked a few questions (since their menu isn't up on their website) and asked the woman to hold on for a second so I could find out how many people we were having for dinner aka: how much to order and she told me to call back because she had other customers waiting and hung up on me. WTF?

My wife & I have been coming here with our sons for years. We look forward to it every summer. In fact, as I am writting this review, I can see, smell and taste the fresh seasoned steamed shrimp. While it doesn't look like much more than a shack from the outside, it certainly delivers on taste.

While it is widely recommended by beachgoers, we had a bad experience at Mickey's. I ordered a Mojito and it seems like it wasn't made with lime juice but rather some kind of soda or concentrate. My wife had a strawberry daquiri that appears to have lacked any liquor at all. Seafood prices may be beyond the control of the restaurant but a dozen for $48 for medium and $70+ for large is outrageous. Each meal came with corn on the cob but they were all very weak. Again, it may be a function of this year's harvest, but I have gotten much better corn in the grocery store this season. Their website had a menu (PDF) that listed fried chicken but when we got there, we were told that it is no longer offered. Evidently they didn't have time to update the website--a fairly simple task. They had a WiFi hotspot but the waitress didn't know the password. Maybe it isn't for guests, but at least they ought to say that via the wait staff. I would like to give it another try next season but we only go out once during our beach week vacation and I would end up kicking myself if it turned out similarly.

Good crabs , and sides , not a bad decision if your around the Beathany Beach area.

Great service, great atmosphere for crabs on the deck. I did experience something I've never run into before, a few of our crabs had mushy grainy meat. It tasted funny too. The waiter said it was because they may have been cooked earlier in the day and were older. I've never seem that I'm Annapolis when we get crabs. It was strange so watch out for this when pickin your crab. If you get a few bad ones the waiter said he was happy to replace them, he was super nice about everything. Other than that normal crab place and good sides (corn, hush puppies, etc...) I thought the hostess was a little off putting and did not want to be there. If you sit outdoors with the kiddos they don't offer high chairs, so if you need a high chair sit inside.

  • Ryan W.

The crabs at this place are tasty, but watch out for the "jumbo" crabs they offer. We ordered the extra large or jumbo (whatever they call it) and I have to say any smaller and they would have had to throw them back in the water. If the size of the crabs were not an issue, I would have given this place 4 stars for the quality of the food.

  • A K.

SO DELICIOUS! I love this place. It was my second time going. I came to Bethany with my friend's family, and they have been coming to Mickey's for years and I can see why! I ordered the medium crabs and some cole slaw. VERY YUMMY AND FUN! The Old Bay there is amazing, too.

Almost every single crab I opened was full of water and air. One I had to send back. My mother and sister loved theirs, though.

    (2)
  • Team Asphalt W.

Very bad. Crabcake is not jumbo lump and all the food was lukewarm. Had to send the fries back for another batch. Decor is appropriate for a crab shack but the picnic benches can get very uncomfortable. If you know crabs I think you'll be disappointed. Service was fine.

Amazing! We traveled from NYC to Bethany Beach and were lucky to stumble on this gem! The staff was attentive (Angela was amazing!) We got all you can eat shrimp, crab, and fried chicken. All of it was great...the crab was perfectly seasoned, the shrimp piping hot...but the chicken..good lord..was perfect. I've had $125 fried chicken chicken from Momofuku in NYC....this fried chicken was comparable to Momofuku's Old Bay fried chicken. .andh the hush puppies...wow!! I can't wait to go again!!

  • Martin B.

Maybe we came on an off-night, or maybe Mickey's just isn't what it was the last time I visited Bethany Beach. I remember it being a cheap, tasty crab house with a lot of good eats but this time I left very disappointed. The place was practically empty and yet it took almost 25 minutes to get our main meals. The hush puppies came out pretty quickly though, and they were tasty (although I've had better). My father and I both got the fried crab cake sandwich. Now, I know the specialty of this place is their fresh crabs, but surely they'd also be good at something like a crab cake sandwich. Not so. The crab cake didn't taste very good, nor did the french fries that came with it. in fact the fries were pretty awful. To top it all off, it was pretty pricey for what we got. This place was great the last time I came here, and maybe I'd give it one more chance in case they were just really off their game the night we came here, but I would more than likely just pass this place now.

  • Christine T.

Definitely start off with a basket of fries, they were hot and tasty! We ordered a pound of the medium-size shrimp. In my opinion, the size of the shrimp could have passed for the large-size and were well worth it. This was the perfect order size for one person's dinner and there was enough shrimp left-over for a few others to share in the delight. We also ordered the small organic salads, the greens were fresh and the dressings were automatically served on the side (perfect). I ordered the lump crab cake as an add-on to my salad. The crab cake was light and fluffy and great! The waitress suggested that I order it broiled, not fried and I'm so glad that it came out perfectly prepared. My mom ordered the tuna add-on and she mistakenly ordered it well-done (the waitress asked how she wanted it served). Our suggestion is to order the tuna rare or medium if you don't want dry tuna. The portion size for the tuna was great, it was a very nice size, too much for my mom to finish. The waitstaff were friendly and nice. My only suggestion is that they could automatically bring the malt vinegar when they deliver the fries, otherwise, you need to wait to get the vinegar, and the fries won't last long because they are good!

Good time. Shrimp were very nearly perfect. Large crabs came out piping hot and juicy. Just try for yourself

This place was recommended from a waiter I met at a different restaurant as "the place the locals go". My group wanted to do all you can eat crabs before heading back to our realities, and I'm so unbelievably glad we went here. The AYCE crabs came with one ear of corn and cost $38/person at the time. We also ordered two orders of fries and hush puppies. The fries were made-to-order and were amazing. The hush puppies were okay - I have yet to find a place with hush puppies that weren't dry, why are they always so tempting when offered in a menu? Anyhow. The price for AYCE was completely worth it. The crabs came out fast, steamy, and lightly seasoned (personal preference). They were HUGE, fat, meaty, and filled with delicious sweet crab goodness!! As a blue crab eater for well over 20 years, I was impressed - this place had the best crabs!!! Barely any dead crabs in the batch they sent over, which tells me they must get them fresh daily. The only downer in the entire experience was that we weren't aware that they didn't do seperate checks to process multiple cards so we had to walk across to the BP gas to use their atm before we could pay. That was pretty annoying to be honest. On the plus side if you pay in cash there is a 5% discount so we took advantage of that. Overall, I definitely hope I get to come back to Mickey's!! :)

Needed to get crabs to throw into the in-laws that were visiting from Texas. Crabs were great. Atmosphere and location were also exactly what you would want when at the beach. The food is not 5 star food but these crabs were as good as you can get down here. Get a crab pretzel!

Amazing down home Chesapeake sea food. My family and I love Bethany because Dewey is too keg stand for us and Rehoboth is great to visit but to fru fru to stay. Chesapeake seafood is by far my favorite food outside of NYC and this place hit the spot. I went two times this summer and had excellent crab cakes, soft shells, half and half's to drink, fries with old bay, off the hook cole slaw, and of course steamed crabs for the whole posse.

**I didn't pick crabs here, so take my review with a grain of salt.** The crab cake sandwich I had was a good size and didn't have a lot of filler. That's good. What's bad is that you pretty much can't get out of here -- even at lunch -- without spending $20 or $25. Even the sides are $5 or $6 and the appetizers are all at least $10. So I'd give it four stars for the food and two stars for the price. If you want to eat crabs here, read the other reviews.

  • Ken S.

Had a great dinner here tonight. Pricey, I guess so,$120 for two!!! With my wife, we shared a bucket o steamed clams,1 dozen Corona minis, a huge crab cake sandwich w/nice fries and a half dozen Jumbo steamed crabs. All were cooked great, served timely and hot, and tasty. We were happily satisfied. We figured the all you can eat would've been nice at $35 ea. ,but the crabs are smaller, and we didn't want chicken or corn in the way. We know what we like and are willing to pay for it. Can you match the meal for about half the cost at home, I can, but Mickey's does it for you just right , and you don't have to shop or cook or clean up!!!!! Why not five stars,....Indoor picnic tables !

  • Morris S.

I can't be positive enough about Mickey's. This is the kind of crabhouse worth driving to. The jumbos were perfectly done - not soggy at all. And the fried oysters and crabcake were both extremely tasty -- the oysters were lightly fried and extremely plentiful, the crabcake was all lump and enormous. I also got a 50 bucket of cherrystone steamers (for $30) -- not sandy and not overcooked, either. The prices were totally reasonable by beach standards. And the service was great. Clearly the word has spread since it was a 20 minute wait at 7 pm on a Monday night.

Hit Mickey's again this year. Ordered steamed shrimp and large crabs by the dozen. Crabs were good and hot... had two duds in the bunch and they replaced with 5 more! The large weren't really huge... but with kids with us we couldn't hunker down for all you can eat. Kids had basket of popcorn shrimp and chicken tenders with loads of fries. Service for us was great. Timing is everything... we waited 40+ minutes for a table at 6:30, then didn't look too crowded when we left. They have a freezer chest of ice cream inside for the little ones as well. Brought out an ice cream sandwich with a candle for my son's birthday.

I haven't been to Bethany in over ten years and this was the first place I stopped. My parents brought me here repeatedly as a kid and coming back after so long it was just as I remembered. As you approach the shack you can hear the hammering and smell the crab seasoning. I was so happy to be back and my crabs were everything I wanted. This is the only place to go for crabs in Bethany period.

We waited 30 minutes to eat outside which was fine with lots of toddlers picking out the perfect rocks from the parking lot. No menus for us or even a walk to our table by the hostess just hand signals directed from the lectern. Hush puppies came quick $4 Amstels a little slower, and finally $24/1lb of jumbo steamed shrimp hit the table after that. The crabs were down to just mediums or large with $30 difference in price, we opted for the $14Crabcake,$14 Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwiches and chicken tenders for the kid. the crabcake was a hit, the fish was just ok and the fries were cold and desperately needed malt vinegar. We ended up paying just over $100 for the 3 of us and won't be headed back any time soon. My advice is go early for dinner go for the crabs and stick to the cheap beers if you want to enjoy the experience. It's a beach crabshack, don't get it twisted. FYI. The restrooms are disgusting.

  • Sincerely H.

Have eaten here a few times with decent food and prices...but when we walked in and gave the hostess our name recently, we were told it would be 1-1/2 hour wait...So we left and found another place. When we returned 15 minutes later to tell them we found another restaurant and to take us off the list, we were told we could be seated. Perhaps this is no big deal, but when you have a sizeable party such a large "exaggeration" of time to a table was an inconvenience, and not accomodating...And clearly the texaggerated ime assessment was a big turnoff.

We were in search of a place for all-you-can-eat blue crab and snow crab out of season, this is not an easy thing to find around here (on New Year's Eve). Mickey's fit the bill nicely. The outside is somewhat nondescript, but inside you will find the familiar picnic benches and brown paper. We visited on an extremely cold, windy day and the seating area was a bit drafty but worth it. The first batch of snow crab was EXCELLENT and all their crabs were large. They also have all-you-can-eat oysters raw, steamed or fried. We will definitely be back

  • Jim S.

Good crabs for take-out. I have never eaten in (seems real crowded). We have been down there for years and usually get crabs a couple times a summer from Mickeys (and before that when it was Mick & Mikes).

  • Will E.

A fun little spot to have a whole mess o' crabs. I can't say they were the best I've ever eaten, but they were pretty good and traditionally prepared. Not much of a view, but the ambiance is definitely "shore crab shack". If the people lined up for dinner are any indication, this is one of the best spots in the area.

We ate at Mickey's a couple of weekends ago and had a spectacular meal of all you can eat crabs, oysters (served several different ways), shrimp and hush puppies. The crabs were medium, on the smaller side, and from Texas and Louisianna, but each and every one of them was packed with meat and had solid points for those of you that eat the points. At the price of $40 a person, we thought it was a great deal.

Just got back from a perfect steamed crab dinner. Our expectations were not high when we went out for all-you-can-eat crabs this evening, but we promised our daughter we would go, so off we went. Other reviews were mixed, but we were 100% happy and will definitely be back. The restaurant was perfectly clean, hostess was friendly and welcoming, and our waitress, Chrissy, was terrific. The all-you-can-eat at $38 pp was actually reasonable and included sweet corn-on-the-cob. No fried food to fill you up before delivery of steaming hot, perfectly spiced, steamed crabs. When we asked for more crabs, they were brought out quickly. An order of steamed, spiced shrimp for a non-crab eater, also perfectly prepared. HIghly recommend this place when what you want is the traditional summer crab eating experience at a paper covered picnic tables.

Okay, I said I wouldn't go back (because my husband wants the no-longer-available chicken) but we did, and had another super meal. The shrimp continues to be great, and this time I got the hush puppies as well, and they were done correctly. New tables have been added outside to increase space anad a brand new shed just arrived for carry-out/pick up meals. AND they tell us chicken will be back after Memorial Day (I know, I know, it is a crab house, but..)

This place is AWESOME!!! Came for all you can eat Crabs and had such a wonderful night. Our server was so attentive and sweet, but the crabs were even sweeter! It's nothing fancy, but dinner here was definitely was a highlight of our beach trip.

I've only been here for the blue crabs - great spot! Just a tip from a crab lover: When eating blue crabs, I recommend NOT doing the all-you-can-eat deal - the quality and size of the crabs are usually not as good and a lot of the crabs are water-logged and mealy. During my most recent visit, a 1/2 dozen of Large crabs were around $40 and the super nice server even threw in an extra one for free = score! The crabs here are top quality and very fresh; you'll get nothing but huge, gorgeous lump meat. And there are huge containers of Old Bay - a must for your crabby beauties! My only small complaint is that Mickey's is not right on the water but there is an exterior patio. Super casual seafood spot, great service, and quality food. Thanks, Mickey's, for my first claw-cracking experience of the summer!

This is a really must-try experience if at the DE beach... but, really, it's more Maryland-like according to a local friend. The restaurant is very family friendly. We came around 7, which seemed to be before the rush. People come to Mickey's for the ability to hammer open freshly steamed Maryland Blue Crabs...which have nothing but Old Bay, and hand crafted butter on them. Delish. You can opt to get a dozen and share..which is plenty in my mind, or all you can eat for $49 I believe. You can choose the size with your crabs... these aren't Alaska King Crabs (they do have that though), so looking back I wish we had maybe gotten the large...we had the medium size and it was the luck of the draw- some had good meat, others didn't. Don't come here expecting not to work hard for your food.. the entire experience makes dinner a silent meal, ha! BF, who doesn't dig crabs too much, got the fish and chips which were plentiful and not overly greasy which is also a sign of good frying. We also shared a dozen raw oysters which were strong tasting (not sure where they were from), some of us had "delicious" corn on the cob, and we had really good hush puppies. They were corn-y, long, and came with good Cajun dressing and cocktail sauce. We washed it all down with a pitcher of Miller Lite. Our server was prompt, and polite, and I would recommend trying this experience for sure if you're in the area. Averages $30 pp.

It is a little pricy however the server we had was great! We went around 3 so they were not busy yet. I had never had blue crab and really didn't want all you could eat- I just wanted to try a few. Our server was very accommodating. She suggested I just order a few crabs to try them. It was very affordable and she showed me exactly how to crack them open! We really enjoyed this meal.

Frequent this place once or twice each summer for the last four years. Tradition shall continue! Never been for the all-you-can eat but rather á la cart seafood. Tried the medium and large shrimp by the pound, clams by the dozens (smaller than expected that one time), oysters, Alaskan king crabs, snow crab clusters and almost never disappointed by any of these. Fillers like appetizers, sides, and salads are not as impressive or worth ordering again. Most recently got the crab dip but was disappointingly served warm with stale tortilla chips. Service is friendly every time. Prices are comparable for all their delicious seafood goodness.

All you can eat crabs. And I mean all you. Can eat. They keep bringing in spicy crabs and you keep banging away with a wood hammer. The draft beer quenches your thirst so order the large size. The place is off a main road so it is easy to find. No reservations. The salad and corn are the two best side dishes. Bring wipes with you although they leave a large roll of paper. Towels. If you do not like crabs, crab cakes or shrimp there is only a cheeseburger a chicken dish or steak

Every trip to Bethany usually ends up with us hanging out at good old Mickeys. We love their service and beach atmosphere. All you can eat is great but I usually pay for the bigger crabs with more meat and flavor. All you can eat crabs to me are a waste because they usually give you the small crabs with barely any meat and not fat. Actually not sure they had all you can eat like Blue Crab but I've always enjoyed their food and service here. Pretty good for family and kids that it's loud and messy so you don't have to worry about being rowdy. Go here for the large crabs, big groups, and friendly service!

Update: Tonight, I was offered a free dozen crabs by the owner herself, who is SUPER nice. 5 stars on customer service itself. They certainly don't need my business and I appreciate the fact that they made an effort to get me back as a customer. The crabs were nice and full, and I now see what they're capable of serving. Thank you, Amy, for reaching out!

Love the laid back vibe. Crabs, cod and shrimp. No need to rush around this place. Food came out quickly. All you can eat crabs were great! Kids had a blast too.

Seven of us dined there last night and had a great time. Most of the party had the all you can crabs for $30 and loved them. They eat crabs regularly and could not say enough how good they tasted.

Worst service ever tonight. As a local, ate at Mickeys a few times with mediocre food and service. Party of 8 on a Thursday night. Restaurant busy but not crowded. We stood at the hostess stand for a few minutes waiting for the hostess. Turns out she was sitting on a picnic table next to the stand eating fries. When she finally got up to help...we realized the lady with the bob eating was actually the hostess! She then proceeded to give the runner not enough menus and told her we could share.....and we could but that is not the point. Asking if it was OK would have been nice...and why are u out of menus? Strange as the place had a number of open seats. Finally when we get to our table, we find it is a table that seats 6. At this point we left. If you can't get seating us right....-anyway we left. She was back to eating her fries. Tried again Mickey's....sorry... many other places offer crabs.

Couldn't tell you if the food was any good. Was there for a half hour and talked to 3 different waiters and never did get an order put in. Staff was a bit incompetent, can't imagine kitchen runs much better.

Really good crab dip! Other than that, the food was just decent for the price. I know seafood is expensive, but the food wasn't very seasoned. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, and probably won't come back, but overall, it was a decent experience. Cool ambiance.

Great place to sit on the deck, enjoy an ice cold beer and a crab cake sandwich. Service always super friendly -- especially on Sunday, when our server included a handwritten "Happy Father's Day" note in our check presenter at the end of our lunch. No frills and absolutely delicious! Always a favorite when visiting Bethany Beach!

We ate here three times in 4 days. Good food, as others have noticed. However, 2 out of 3 times the menu showed a lower price than we were charged at checkout. They had their menus and their computers out of synch. Not so bad once, but 2 days later it still was not fixed. Once, also, the food came out late and cold. They redid it at least.

Mickey's is back! They dropped the chicken - no loss, and the crabs were great. The pleasant waitress brought the crabs quickly. Mickey's still has the best Old Bay seasoning. The crab meat was very flavorful.

I've been here a few times with some family, and at this point, I gotta say, this place is great. If you do the all-you-can-eat crabs (which I highly, highly recommend), be sure you have the consent of the people at your table or are partaking with a friend, because you'll be there for a while. It takes about a half hour per load of crab per person. We did two, and strongly considered a a third, but our butts fell asleep and we decided to leave. The remainder of our party had a pretty good portion of other local fish (and the 12 year old with us loved the alaskan crab, and finally tried some Chesapeake-style with us). Everyone else at the table loved their bloody mary's (everyone got one but me), but they weren't my cup of Mary (full disclosure: I'm very, very rarely impressed by bloody Mary's, not because I'm a snob, but because I just don't like them that much). But, I'd be remissed not to tell you to try them if they're your thing. It's hard to tell if the kitschy atmosphere is deliberate or if they really are kind of worn down over these years. That being said, if you're looking for a really good, quiet, romantic dinner, this is not it. If you want somewhere to take the kids, or are on your 5th or 6th date, this place is great.

Food was very good. Great outside seating. The crabs were hot and good size. Bang Bang Shrimp, steamed shrimp, chicken tenders, oysters, clams, crab cake and hush puppies were excellent. Not fancy but the servers are great, with a good sense of humour. Very relaxing and a good beach VIB.

WOW, AMAZING. We ordered a pound of the medium-size shrimp and they were so delicious. The size of the shrimp could have passed for the large-size! The snow crab legs were just amazing. I really can't wait to go back! Super cute, very fun, and REALLY delicious!

Good crabs for take-out. I have never eaten in (seems real crowded). We have been down there for years and usually get crabs a couple times a summer from Mickeys (and before that when it was Mick & Mikes).

May need to wait until the service is more experienced. Crabs are usually great and the service is usually great also. Food was not so great and service was poor.
